The Asia Pacific real estate market will enter a period of slower growth in 2016, with several markets already experiencing a correction. Slower than historical average economic growth; increased uncertainty around China; potential interest rate movements; and weaker business sentiment all point to occupiers adopting more conservative real estate strategies in the near term. The investment demand will remain upbeat, however, on the back of high liquidity and promising long-term growth.
It is crucial that market participants gain a full understanding of these key trends so that they are prepared to successfully overcome the challenges and take advantage of the opportunities set to emerge in the coming year.
