In the second half of 2014 CBRE Research commissioned a survey of 32,000 consumers in 32 major countries across Europe and Asia Pacific. The survey included 1,000 consumers in New Zealand, and the results are presented in our report “New Zealand Consumer Survey 2015, How we like to shop”
Within these surveys, which were conducted through online consumer panels, the questions related to shopping for non-food items and were focussed around shopping centres and online activity.
Ultimately, we sought to understand how shopping destinations and those involved in their development and management can best adapt, maintain, or win market share in the constantly changing retail environment.
