The survey found that South Korean consumers are extremely tech savvy and well connected to the internet.
95% of respondents have a smartphone and 87% have a desktop computer. Tablets have already managed to penetrate 41% of households, a figure that is well on its way to reach the percentage of households with laptops (80%). South Korean consumers are mostly very well versed in utilizing the internet and social media to stay informed of new retailer openings and the latest promotions.
