The Opportunity

 
CBRE serves as a trusted advisor to CVC Capital Partners—recently, the team of Ben Friedland and Silvio Petriello partnered with the private equity firm on its renewal and expansion at 712 Fifth Avenue. CVC extended its 43rd floor space by taking an additional 20,000 square feet on the 42nd floor, allowing for growth in contiguous space. Shortly after, Ben and Silvio discovered an opportunity to provide value to one of CVC’s recently acquired investments, consulting firm AlixPartners. 

The Solution


CBRE moved AlixPartners from its home at 40 West 57th Street into a similarly sized, but more efficient space at 909 Third Avenue, resulting in more than enough room for expansion and $25 million in savings.
